About
Welcome to EmBrace Tutoring, an online tutoring service committed to helping students achieve their goals, and reach their potential. Our mission is to collaborate with our clients, subsequently providing students with tailored learning plans to aid understanding, engagement and confidence in STEM. With a keen interest in Educational Neuroscience, the founder of EmBrace Tutoring combines neuroscientific principles of brain development with her tutoring knowledge to create evidence-informed learning strategies, supporting deeper learning and promoting academic growth long-term.
Our Story
During her school years, our founder struggled with low confidence and anxiety surrounding STEM learning. As a result, she attended extra tuition, which helped her increase her confidence and gain a true understanding, and love, of STEM. She now studies Medical Neuroscience at University following her STEM-focused A Levels.
After tutoring on a well-known online tutoring platform for three years, our founder started EmBrace Tutoring to support students with STEM learning and understanding.
Mission
At EmBrace Tutoring, our mission is to partner closely with students and their families to deliver personalised, meaningful support in STEM subjects. We believe that every learner is unique, and so should their learning journey be. Through one-to-one, tailored learning plans, we aim to break down barriers to understanding, boost engagement, and build lasting confidence in STEM.
Rooted in the principles of Educational Neuroscience, our approach integrates insights about how the brain learns, remembers, and stays motivated. We don't just teach for the next test: we teach for long-term growth, helping students develop effective learning strategies that align with their natural cognitive strengths.
